A 108-foot statue of Neelkanth Varni, a revered form of Bhagwan Swaminarayan, was consecrated at the Swaminarayan Akshardham temple complex in New Delhi on March 26. The ceremony marked the culmination of a two-day religious event attended by thousands of devotees from across India and abroad.

The consecration, known as Murti Pratishtha Mahotsav, was held in the presence of Mahant Swami Maharaj, the spiritual head of the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha.
